FAQs
Is my “sprained” wrist actually fractured? Distal radius or scaphoid fractures can mimic a sprain. If pain persists after a fall, X-rays (and sometimes MRI/CT) help us confirm.
What is a TFCC tear? A cartilage-ligament complex on the ulnar side of your wrist that stabilizes twisting/weight-bearing; tears can cause pain and clicking.
How long before I can lift again after a fracture? Light activity may start in weeks; full loading follows healing on imaging and your symptoms. We individualize plans.
Do wrist ganglion cysts go away? Some resolve on their own; aspiration can help, but recurrence is common. Surgery reduces recurrence risk.
