Presented annually at the Orthopaedic Summit and Evolving Techniques (OSET) Course—one of the nation’s leading educational gatherings for orthopaedic surgeons—the award recognizes one surgeon each year for a lifetime of scientific research, surgical innovation, and advancement in the field of shoulder surgery. This year’s conference took place in Las Vegas and was attended by more than 500 orthopaedic surgeons and medical professionals from across the country.
Dr. Field has earned numerous accolades throughout his distinguished career, but he describes this honor as the most meaningful.
