Matthew Young, MD
// BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Young. is originally from Houston, TX. He attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, TX where he played football and earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance. Dr. Young received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the Texas Medical Center.
Dr. Young completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center. He is an expert in knee replacements and both the anterior and posterior approaches to hip replacement. He uses computer navigation and robotics for partial and total knee replacements.
Dr. Young enjoys fishing, hunting, running, sports, volunteer work, and spending time with his wife, two daughters and two golden retrievers.
