Cooper Terry, MD
// BIOGRAPHY
Cooper Terry, MD, a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, founded Oxford Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in 1996. With decades of experience, he specializes in advanced surgical and non-operative orthopedic care.
Dr. Terry graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He continued his training with a six-year Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University Medical Center, where he was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Terry completed his advanced medical training with a Fellowship in Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand Surgery at Harvard University.

Dr. Terry performs outpatient total hip replacements and outpatient total knee replacements at the Oxford Surgery Center, utilizing advanced imaging and patient-matched technology for precise, customized results. He serves as the Team Orthopaedic Physician for Ole Miss Athletics and Delta State University Athletics.
As co-founder, Medical Director, and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for The Oxford Surgery Center, Dr. Terry is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. The surgery center is recognized as a Mississippi Center of Excellence for Joint Replacement and consistently scores at the highest levels of safety and quality of care as measured against national benchmarks.
Dr. Terry lives in Oxford, Mississippi, with his wife and three children.
